Elsa Strachan

Elsa trained on the MA Directing Program at Rose Bruford College.

Having grown up in rural Scotland, Elsa is interested in exploring the tension between the countryside and the city, and has a passion for directing and developing new plays. She also frequently works with actor-musicians on plays with music.

Directing credits include: Mum (Rose Bruford); Living on The Hyphen (R&D); and Yes, We’re Related (Bread and Rose). 

Assistant director credits include: Stray Dogs (Theatre503); and Three Winters and Phaedra (Rose Bruford).
